Charterhouse Carbon is a high performance activated carbon designed to effectively absorb organic waste products, ozone colours, and medications, ensuring crystal clear aquarium water.

Our pH Neutral Carbon is specially formulated to avoid adding phosphate loads to your aquarium, promoting a balanced aquatic environment. Manufactured as highly compacted pellets, this carbon demonstrates exceptional resistance to mechanical stress commonly experienced as carbon ages in your aquarium or when used within reactors.

Ideal for use in both internal and external filters, fluidised reactors, or any high-flow filtration system, Charterhouse Carbon optimizes water quality and clarity. For best results, add approximately 100ml of carbon per 100 liters of aquarium water. Replace the media when visible signs of exhaustion appear or if water clarity diminishes.

Each purchase comes complete with a convenient media bag for easy handling and placement.

Please note, this activated carbon will also absorb fertilizers, certain trace elements, and iodine, so monitor your aquarium’s nutrient levels accordingly.
