Acknowledgement of Gratitude

Despite the very poor uses of astrology that abound on the internet these days, there are glimmers of hope from those who want to see and contribute to proper research that benefits the entirety of humanity.

I had to go through a fairly rigorous grilling by Alois Treindl from Astro Data Bank in order to be recognised as a legitimate astrological researcher and be able to use the collection of data that Astro Data Bank holds. It has already helped me and will contribute in substantial part to forthcoming scientific research that I am conducting, initially into suicides, and later into other aspects of psychology that can be mapped to cosmic configurations.

While going through the data, I came across the name Sy Scholfield. It turns out that Sy is the largest single contributor to Astro Data Bank and has been collecting astrological data for many years. He is also a fellow Australian.

I would also like to mention Lois Rodden who began Astro Data Bank in order to provide a repository of reliable data, which also includes the Rodden Rating which designates the accuracy of the quoted time of birth.

Alois is also the author of the Swiss Ephemeris software library that now powers pretty much every astrological program in the world, and runs the web site astro.com, one of the largest astrological resources on the internet.

I would like to pay tribute to all of these remarkable people who have added so much in the way of resources to the legitimate study and research of astrology, and in my case cosmobiology. Your lifetime contributions have been incredible.

I have agreed to supply my own data to Astro Data Bank when I obtain data that is not already stored in it. I have no issue doing this as it means there is a single global repository that can be used for research into future years.
