Discovery of the Suicide Indicator

Despite my years of experience in cosmobiology and having seen some truly remarkable outcomes in the work I was doing for people, nothing was able to prepare me for what I was about to discover. I believe this discovery has the capability to change the course of the practice of both astrology and cosmobiology throughout the world. This is a game changer.

Where it began

I don’t usually browse astrology forums or social media groups because I find the conversations lacking any rigour. The following is an actual interaction that provides a sample of what I mean:

Inquirer: My periods have stopped. I am gaining weight. I have low mood. Is this perimenopause or something else?

Astrologer: Period (hormones Leo ovaries – Scorpio uterus). This explains why menstruation does not occur during emotional stress, extreme challenges or competitive sports. Here, the transit of Saturn in the first house would be a sign that you are trying to ambitiously defend your personality during this time and not just focus on sacrifices as a Pisces ascendant.

If I was inquiring I would not be satisfied with a response like that, and unfortunately groups and forums are full of this kind response, many are often worse. It’s frustrating to see such incompetence on display.

Anyway, back in 2019 I was browsing a Facebook group. There was this one post that caught my interest for some reason. The friend of an inquirer had suicided. It was unexpected and this inquirer wanted to know what her friend was thinking and feeling at the time she decided to take her own life.

I don’t like to provide personal responses in forums from an ethical point of view, so I took this lady into private chat. I looked at her friend’s cosmogram and it was very clear that she was not in a good way emotionally. What stood out to me was a heavy concentration of Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Saturn influence that was being triggered at the time of her suicide.

I explained how that combination will likely cause depression, and that it looked like her friend had been depressed for quite some time. From memory this birth configuration had been heavily triggered for at least a couple of years, so it would have been no surprise that she had decided to give up on her life.

She thanked me for my help to understand how her friend was feeling at the time she passed.

Another Suicide

A couple of weeks later, I received notification that a member of my own extended family had suicided. This was most unexpected. He was 23 years of age at the time. He had everything going for him, a great job, a girlfriend, he was a very handsome and well loved young man. So this was most out of character.

Being a cosmobiologist I wanted to know why this had occurred, so I obtained his birth information and looked at his cosmogram. To my surprise I saw the same heavy concentration of Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Saturn influence at his time of birth. This began to pique my curiosity. I wondered if this combination could indicate suicide. It certainly made sense regarding an indication of depression. Are some people born with a predisposition to suicide?

The Beginning of Further Research

I began gathering a collection of birth data of famous people who died by suicide. Robin Williams, Michael Hutchence, Anthony Bourdain along with many others. What began to stand out to me was that there is another factor at play in cosmobiology that no one had written about, and when I went back and looked at research that had been done into suicides by other astrologers and cosmobiologists, it appeared that no one was aware of it.

I started to call what I had discovered the Sun / Moon = Jupiter / Saturn combination, because I was seeing this combination so often in the birth charts of those who suicided. No one looks at midpoint to to midpoint combinations, everyone looks only at a planet aspecting a midpoint. Yet it was becoming clear that midpoint to midpoint combinations also hold great influence.

Compound Midpoints

Midpoint trees are used regularly in cosmobiology, though they always have midpoints with at least a single planet as the focal point.

The Combination of Stellar Influences which is the interpretation bible for cosmobiology was written in such a way where it was almost expected that midpoints needed to have a body that had the central focus. For instance Mars = Sun / Moon. As far as I’m aware this is the way midpoints have been used traditionally.

What I had discovered was different. This was midpoints to midpoints without a single body as the focus.

Figure 1 – Example Midpoint Trees in Astro Gold

I began calling these combinations compound midpoints. I started researching and using compound midpoints more and more. They didn’t always make sense, but by using the traditional interpretation of the individual and dual bodies, it was possible to build up a picture of how they might be working.

The Sun / Moon = Jupiter / Saturn compound midpoint always being prominent in suicides made sense. Sun / Moon is interpreted as “the merging of spirit and soul, conscious and unconscious, vitality and feelings”. Jupiter and Saturn is interpreted as “patience and perseverance” in the positive, or “emotional tensions and inhibitions, self destructive thoughts” in the negative. Combined, it is easy to see how this can cause depression so severe that someone might want to take their own life.

I should mention that in cosmobiology it doesn’t matter which way the combinations fall. Sun / Jupiter = Moon / Saturn is exactly the same and will produce exactly the same outcome as will Sun / Saturn = Moon / Jupiter.

Figure 2 – Keith Flint suicide indicator
Figure 3 – Keith Flint additional indicator
Figure 4 – Keith Flint third confirmation

Figure 2 shows compound midpoints indicating suicide in the cosmogram of Keith Flint, vocalist in popular band The Prodigy.

I should note that based on the data I had available to me I could only calculate a midday birth time as I didn’t have his time of birth, so for the sake of illustrative purposes I have made his birth time 6:00am in order to bring the Moon back into a position where this compound midpoint is formed. I will discuss accuracy in another article because there are a number of new methods that I also discovered that assist with working with the Moon and unknown birth times. This is not my preferred method because it artificially assumes that Keith was born before midday.

What is interesting about Keith’s cosmogram is that not only was he born with Sun / Moon = Jupiter / Saturn, he was also born with Sun / Jupiter = Moon / Saturn. When this occurs, it at least doubles the possibility of suicide and becomes an extremely strong indicator.

Not only is there a second confirmation as depicted in Figure 3, there is a third confirmation with the Sun / Saturn direct aspect at the midpoint of Moon / Jupiter (Figure 4).

With such heavy confirmation it is hardly surprising that Keith Flint decided to end his life. It is such an ominous configuration that must have caused him immense pain.

Investigation of Dozens of Samples

Even with cosmobiology being my preferred method of finding the interactions between celestial bodies and the effect they have on humanity especially, but organic life more broadly, I still question my findings when I find something of interest like this. The only way to know if you are onto something is see if it is replicated over dozens of samples. By doing that you iron out any imperfections you have in your hypothesis regarding a particular finding.

I have more to discuss following this article. Suicides are not the only thing I have found, there are even more mind-blowing findings, all discovered using the same techniques I discovered here though. The lessons learned from that process are that even when it looks like you have an absolute match, don’t stop investigating, because if you do, you may miss something very important.

Remember, I discovered this back in 2019. It has taken me from then until now to test, modify, and retest on sufficient data to realise the importance of this finding.

Figure 6 – Michael Hutchence birth configuration
Figure 7 – Anthony Bourdain birth configuration

In order to verify my findings I gathered data for both well known and unknown people who had suicided. My samples ran to perhaps a couple of hundred. The majority of my samples displayed the Sun / Moon / Jupiter / Saturn compound midpoint, but there were also a reasonable chunk of my samples that didn’t. As a scientist, it is these samples that you both enjoy finding, because it means you have a flaw in your hypothesis that needs to be investigated, but also they are a curse, because you don’t know where that flaw exists.

Kurt Cobain was one such sample. Possibly the most prominent suicide of all time, where the configuration just didn’t seem to nicely fit the model. Using his midday birth chart I could argue that the model did exist if I adjusted the position of the Moon forwards or backwards a few degrees.

For the benefit of non-astrologers, the Moon is the fastest moving body. It travels on average around 12 degrees over a 24 hour period. Not having a birth time means you need to average the Moon’s position over that time, which is why you use a midday birth time. Astrologers use a technique called rectification where if they don’t know the time of birth, they will attempt to “rectify” it by using events in the person’s life to determine a most likely time of birth. I have found this to be inherently unreliable, so I take the approach of if you don’t know, then you don’t know. Don’t guess at it. I have instead found a way to incorporate a range where you can determine a “most likely” type of scenario, but still keep the element of doubt prominent, because you could be wrong.

I have had scenarios where I have not known the birth time, used a midday time and decided the person is most likely born one side of midday and used say the 6:00am time like I did with Keith Flint, only to obtain the birth time at a later time and find that I was completely off the mark and they were in fact born the other side of midday. This is why I don’t like assuming. It will always come back to bite you. And in part, this is why I chose Keith Flint for this article. What I did using a 6:00am time is something you should never do. It is bad practice. But as I said it is for illustrative purposes only.

When the Data Doesn’t Fit the Model

Figure 8 – Kurt Cobain birth configuration 1
Figure 9 – Kurt Cobain birth configuration 2

Kurt Cobain caused me all kinds of issues. I found myself making arguments for moving his birth time both forwards and backwards.

In Figure 8. I could make an argument for moving the Moon back almost a full 6 degrees. That would give me Moon / Saturn = Sun / Jupiter which fits the model.

I would then go away and think about if for a while and decide I didn’t want to do that because it is way too drastic just to make a piece of data fit my model. It’s not something a scientist should or would do.

I would then think, OK what if I moved the Moon forward a few degrees? That would cause a similar movement in the other direction and was once again too drastic in my opinion.

I could see that the configuration in question was quite likely to have existed had we had an accurate birth time, yet at the same time I was not happy with the solutions I was attempting. Kurt Cobain for a while went into the too hard basket.

Figure 10 – Kurt Cobain 120 degree dial

One day, a friend of mine who I have been teaching cosmobiology to for a couple of years suddenly asked “have you ever used a dial that is anything other than 90 degrees”? I said yes, Reinhold Ebertin did use a 120 degree dial in some of his work, but it is not generally discussed or used to any great extent because cosmobiology is essentially looking at the hard aspects and midpoints.

Anyway, I decided to put Kurt Cobain’s chart on the 120 degree dial just to see what it looked like. I think Figure 10 tells the remainder of that story.

Adding the 120 Degree Dial

It became very apparent that there is a need to use the 120 degree dial alongside the 90 degree dial. The two should always be used together. I back tested what was being shown in the 120 degree dial to 360 degrees to find out why sometimes the 120 degree view became so important. The reason is because trines are often formed to midpoints, and sometimes they are grand trines which carry an enormous amount of potential in them.

Figure 11 – Jadin Bell 120 degree dial

Astrologers regard most of the hard aspects as bringing difficult circumstances whereas the soft aspects (trines and sextiles) bringing fortunate circumstances. Cosmobiologists have never looked at aspects that way. They always treat them just as a connection and it is the bodies themselves that determine if the outcome will be fortunate or unfortunate. This finding would tend to support the view of cosmobiologists.

Figure 11 shows the birth configuration of Jadin Bell, a young man in the USA who suicided due to being bullied for being gay. His birth chart is important due to both suicide and being gay. In a followup article I will show how to determine if someone is gay from their birthchart. It has the same success rate as determining suicides. What is important about Jadin’s birth chart is that suicide is indicated in the 120 degree dial while being gay is indicated in the 90 degree dial. This is an example of how they work together.

Jadin’s and his father Joe’s story is so sad, but so important to help raise awareness.

Astounding Success Rate

Having broken through with Kurt Cobain’s birth chart I began looking at both 90 and 120 degree dials for all birth charts. The pattern that emerged was that the suicide model exists in 100% of birth charts where suicide has been successful, and cause of death has been reported as suicide.

That’s right, not one birth chart out of now hundreds that I have done, has not had this configuration in either 90 degree, 120 degree or both. When it occurs in both 90 degree and 120 degree dials, which does also happen sometimes, the influence is dramatically increased.

During 2024, in Australia there were a number of girls, all around the early teen years who suicided due to bullying at school. This is an ongoing problem in Australian schools, and it is something that a tool like this can assist with.

At the very least, the parents, the school, or the child’s psychologist could consult with someone skilled in being able to interpret this data and determine the risk factor. If the child is at risk then the opportunity to remove the child from the harmful environment can be taken.

I obtained the birth data for a large number of these school girls and monitored them throughout the year. It should come as no surprise at this point that all of those who suicided were born with this configuration in their birth charts. I have chosen not to publish this because I don’t have the permission of the families to do so and I don’t wish to cause them more trauma.

Surely this now has to show that our cosmos does affect us in measurable ways?

A Word of Caution and how this Information Should be Used

I know that if you are an astrologer you are likely going to head straight to your software, configure it for both 90 degree and 120 degree dials to look at this for yourself. By all means do so. I encourage you to. I have been working on this for so long now that I am confident this works.

However, and this is a very big warning, if you choose to look at birth charts of family and friends and find this combination, don’t instantly jump to the conclusion that they are going to suicide. A little bit of knowledge, particularly of this magnitude, in the wrong hands and without proper training on how to use it, can cause alarm and be dangerous.

Please do not let a finding of this model in the birth chart of a loved one cause unnecessary alarm. What we are looking at in this article is after the fact. It is for research purposes. We know these people have suicided and we want to find out why they did.

With living people there are so many other factors we need to take into account such as genetics, upbringing, position in life, environment etc. Only someone with proper training in various other aspects of using these tools is equiped to determine if someone may be at risk of suicide. Use your skills and discretion wisely to direct anyone you think may be at risk to the help they may need.

Astrologers and cosmobiologists are here to help. There is no glory in accurately predicting someone’s demise.
